This First Tuesday meeting will be a time for us to think and discuss with others the current social issues facing you in your work

What social issues or challenges do you have at the moment?
Examples of issues (but don’t feel restricted by these)
• Buying/sourcing ethically often increases costs
• Covid is still a danger to people’s health & not all businesses can operate at a distance from others (other employees or customers)
• I want to work with others that have similar values to me
• My values are causing problems for my business

Emma Torrance, owner of THiNK will be hosting tonight’s network. She has a SFEDI practitioners qualification in advising businesses & specialised in Social Enterprise, and has worked with many freelancers, private businesses and social enterprises. Emma works with people providing mentoring, business advice and workshops.

Who should come?

It is for those wanting to think about social issues that are affecting them & be able to discuss these issues with others.

This network is about providing a supportive space for helping socially-minded people to share ideas and develop as sole traders or businesses. It is for those wanting to think about some ethical and value based business issues and for those that want to incorporate their values in their business or do good in their business.

We are likely to be a small group as we stopped running this network for much of the lockdown, smaller numbers normally means we get to have a really good conversation.
