“Someone special's coming to town... and it's not Santa Claus…”
The Loft Movie Theatre is proud to present a one-night special screening of the 1990 cult sci-fi action classic DARK ANGEL!
After the last three years of celebrating the festive season with Die Hard films, they decided it was time to up the ante. So brace yourself for some seriously seasonal mayhem, because they’re here to argue that DARK ANGEL IS A CHRISTMAS FILM!
While hot-headed Houston vice cop Jack Caine (Dolph Lundgren) is on the case of a local gang, he unexpectedly finds himself caught in the middle of a deadly narcotics operation of an altogether more intergalactic nature. Faced with an extra-terrestrial dealer on a diabolical mission to harvest human endorphins, Caine is forced to team up with a straight-laced FBI agent to take on the alien drug lord and save the world!
Also known as I COME IN PEACE, this is pure '90s action B-movie magic. With big guns, bigger explosions, deadly flying compact discs, sinister aliens, practical effects, and an utterly bonkers premise, Dark Angel is a perfect alternative to the usual Christmas fare - and one that deserves to be seen on the big screen!
