George Gadd @ The Bodega, with Harker & Velvet Blush
Details
George's headlining The Bodega again, and this time he's bringing Harker with him too!!!
George is always pretty popular on here, and I'm really pleased to say that Harker are playing too. They're definitely one of my favorite bands, and last year the couple of times I saw them were both in my top gigs of the year.
Velvet Blush are also playing too, so it looks like a pretty stacked line up!!
Tickets are just over £6 including fees, available from:

The chances are, you've probably come across a George Gadd gig before. He's played everywhere over the last couple of years. Whether it's been at festivals across the country (Splendour, 2000 Trees, Y Not, Dot To Dot and Beat The Streets), supporting some pretty amazing artists artists (The Front Bottoms, Kevin Devine, Ducking Punches and The Xcerts) or packed headline shows of his own (Bodega, Rough Trade, City Arts), it's fair to say George loves what he does, and he's not going to stop until he's done it all.
George Gadd's musical career began when his parents gave him an Argos guitar at the age of 16. He started learning covers and writing the occasional song of his own and before long, he was playing to small crowds in pubs and getting kicked out at 9pm because he was under 18.
Through the years, George played his way through a series of pub gigs, open mic nights and parties, establishing a name for himself in the Nottingham and Birmingham areas. He began playing bigger shows and picking up support slots, and to date has played alongside the likes of The Front Bottoms, Kevin Devine, Ducking Punches, Anna's Anchor and The Xcerts. His success has led him to play shows and festivals all over the UK, in Europe, and America.
'Better Shape' has been somewhat of a surprise success for Gadd and as a result, 2017 has seen him play acclaimed sets at 2000 Trees, Y Not and Dot to Dot Festival alongside a very special show at Nottingham's prestigious Bodega which was a sellout.
"... A fellow I have a huge amount of respect for who has a fantastic way with words and a knack for infectious melodies." - Dean Jackson, BBC Introducing
"Cool tunes!" - Frank Turner
"Gadd’s tracks invoke a wonderful amount of imagery, something the great songwriters can do with aplomb." - Counteract Magazine
