I'm really looking forward to this 'FREE ENTRY' I'm Not From London gig featuring the fab KID SPIRIT at BrewDog Nottingham on Sun 15th February! I've been following them for a while now, and they are really good live! If you're into The Boxer Rebellion / Alvvays / White Lies / Slowdive this one is definitely for you!

KID SPIRIT

KID SPIRIT is an alt-rock, synth-pop quartet from the UK. After relocating back to home town roots, Luke Parker (Vox/Keys) reformed the group in early 2023 with a fresh new line-up, welcoming former band flames and friends alike, Steve Heather (Bass), Lewis Duckworth (Guitar) and Matt Bell (Drums).

With textural guitars and synth hooks, they create emotive melancholic pop music, which draws a fine line between easy listening and explosive walls of sound.

"Next up was Eleanor McGregor, another solo artist, armed with an acoustic guitar. Performing a range of songs from her debut album Humour Me, Eleanor came across as an assured performer. Eleanor recorded the album with Cam Worne who joined her on stage during the set for a song, his vocals complementing hers perfectly as her deep acoustic guitar strums echoed around the darkly-lit, homely-feeling venue. Eleanor did a brilliant job of showcasing her debut album to the crowd, and I’m sure she gained even more fans of her music throughout the evening."
