Ever popular with the group, Jake returns to Nottingham, one of, if not is favourite city to play with his new band! We saw them on one of, if not the first public gig at Billy Bootlegger's so looking forward to this one!

As a special treat, he's bringing Gaz Brookfield with him as support - again, another fave! Gaz frequently sells out The Bodgea, so this is quite an honour to see him support Jake rather than the other way round!

Also on the bill, is George! He's got been doing quite a lot, but this will likely be a rarer gig with his Bodega headline coming up later in the year!

I've created a group chat too at:
Jake Martin & The Broken Bodies @ The OCS 29/5

All welcome to join us, as always!

Tickets (Including some early birds still at £11) are available from:

Jake Martin is back — and this time he’s bringing the band!
If you were lucky enough to catch their December show at Billy’s, then you already know this is going to be one hell of a night.

Jake has toured relentlessly for over a decade and has carved out a loyal, dedicated fanbase across the UK. Expect high energy and crowd-wide singalongs from start to finish!
As if that wasn’t enough, main support comes from the legendary Gaz Brookfield.
West-country based Gaz Brookfield is an award-winning solo acoustic musician with two number-one albums to his name.

He has spent the last fifteen years tirelessly touring the UK and beyond, building a strong and loyal following wherever he goes.
Brookfield was the first independent musician to sell out Bristol’s The Fleece (450 cap), The Bierkeller (750 cap), and more recently, SWX (1000 cap).

With an impressive ten-album back catalogue, his ninth record Morning Walking Club earned him his first Official UK Folk Albums Chart number one in 2023.
His second number-one came in September 2025 when Waiting for Wisdom topped the Official UK Download Chart.
Not bad for a fiercely independent artist with no label, no manager, no agent — just a guitar, a van, and a stubborn refusal to give in.
Top it all off with an opening set from local Nottingham legend George Gadd, and you’ve got yourself an absolute winner of a night.
Grab those tickets — we’ll see you down the front!
