Giant Deer are proud to present Superfriends at JT Soar on 28th October! Supported by Fern Veh + Lou Strong. Superfriends have never been shy about wearing their feelings on their sleeves. Their big and bright punk songs, sounding somewhere between Jeff Rosenstock and The Mountain Goats, will hit you like a joyous shot in the arm! They tackle such themes as friendship, identity, and just having a really great time with your pals. Fern Veh is a collaborative indie project led by Ada Gilfoyle, taking influence from the likes of bedroom pop, post-rock, and early 00s indie rock. Expansive, shimmering walls of sound meet intimate hushed vocals, layered harmonies, and delicate melodies. FFO: Broken Social Scene, Carissa's Weird, TWIABP, Foxing, Sufjan Stevens Lou Strong is the stripped-back folk-punk project from Eloise of Cheap Dirty Horse. She channels all the rowdy queer trash folk-punk energy you expect, but with a direct focus on personal story telling £10 ADV All Ages Show BYOB
