This week's weekly online Thursday Mindfulness Meeting will be a gentle and simple one-hour session in which we will explore the one, simple, underlying principle that can bring us calm, inner-peace and emotional resilience. (And note: this principle isn't present moment awareness!)
The single, core principle that we'll be looking at in this week's meeting is fundamental to mindfulness (and to many other meditation traditions), yet it is easily overlooked and often forgotten. Nonetheless, it is the key to true personal transformation – and it's the gateway to a new and more comfortable experience of life. What is more, it is readily available to all of us with just a little bit of training!
Our meeting this week will be led by Shaun Glossop, an experienced and highly regarded local mindfulness teacher. (Shaun is also our Group's leader and the regular host of our meetings.) The meeting will include two periods of guided meditation.
This week's session is shorter than usual, but you are invited to also take part in tonight's online Feast for the Soul event (which happens beforehand, from 5pm to 6pm). Feast for the Soul is a free, worldwide meditation event that is your opportunity to join-in with a global community of 10,000 other, like-minded people from all around the world.
