Serverless Workshop with Mark Allan

Workshop Description:

In this workshop we'll build a true event-driven serverless application. The core of the application will be built with Azure Functions and Event Grid, with Cosmos DB and Azure Blob Storage used for storage. Cognitive Services will be provide image processing, and we'll also use Logic Apps to provide workflow features and connections to external services.

You will need:
A laptop
An Azure subscription (https://azure.com/free)
Visual Studio 2019 with the Azure Development workload installed or Visual Studio Code with the C#
Azure Functions extensions installed (https://visualstudio.com/)

About Mark:

Mark (@MarkXA) is an Azure MVP based on the beautiful North Coast of Northern Ireland. He's been a professional developer since the 1980s and freelance since 2000, working on a myriad of projects for everything from local startups and councils to multinational corporations and federal government departments. These days he spends almost as much time on architecture and infrastructure as on code. While something of a technology omnivore, particularly if it's new and shiny, he currently tends towards Xamarin and React front-ends sitting on top of highly scalable Azure services, using a functional and reactive approach.
