NOVA D&D Adventurers League

Experience the Hellfire Club's D&D adventures! You will be playing a D&D character like "Will the Wise" and "Lady Applejack" from the hit show Stranger Things as you journey through lost ruins and shadowy realms. Starting at Level 1, this is a great set of adventures for new players, fans of the show, or those wanting to play 80's-style D&D!

This will be run as an AL campaign; there will be a set party of players. PCs will level up based on the campaign milestones. Signups will not occur on Meetup, but will be controlled by the DM.

Message DM Bruce on Discord if you'd like to join the adventure!

Several months ago, a large pride of griffons moved into the Starmetal Hills to the west of Longsaddle. They've been a menace ever since, feeding on livestock and stealing horses. There's only so many animals a ranching town can lose before something must be done!

The city has contracted the Glockeberg Guild to deal with the infestation. A renowned monster hunting company, the Guild only hires the best and the brightest! You wouldn't want to let them down, would you?

Our adventurers accepted the summons of the Von Finklesteins to seek out the Donum Vitae, a set of ten disks containing ancient magic that can shape life and death itself. The angel Khamseen, servant of Mystra and guardian of the Donum Vitae, admitted that he only retains three of the disks. Many years ago, the archmage Taa Naelor swindled him out of the full set, desperate for just a little more time to decipher the secrets within. Khamseen has been unable to break the wards on Taa's lair, instead burying the place below the desert sands and trapping the mage in his own temple so no one else may access the magic he stole.

After enduring the trials of the Halls of Dust, our party met with Taa Naelor, who was not as evil as he was made out to be. Taa is willing to help, but cannot leave his temple lest the angel finishes what he started. The party agreed to try and reason with Khamseen to borrow his part of the set, hoping to appeal to his good nature. They have a young life to save!

But decades of rage can change someone. Negotiations turned sour as the party returned to Khamseen without all of the remaining disks. The angel will suffer the games of mendacious mortals no longer!
