NOVA Atheists is a meetup group for the growing Atheist community in Northern Virginia, Maryland, and suburban DC that has a heavy focus on Atheism, Separation of Church and State, the advancement of Science, social structure for the Atheist community, and activism in pursuit of those goals.
NOVA Atheists is sponsored on meetup.com by Beltway Atheists Inc., an American Atheists affiliate and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
