Sunday Bird Hike

We had a good turn out at the first hike in February - unfortunately there were not too many birds. I thought we would see more of our feathered friends as I get a very good population at my bird feeders bordering the area we hiked.

As promised - next hike is March 26 at 9:00 am.

Meet at the Lake Audubon Pool parking lot on Twin Branches Road in Reston. Near the South Lakes Safeway shopping center.

I have arbitrarily limited the attendance to 15 - if I see more interest I will raise the limit - but plan to come even if you do get waitlisted.

I'll have a local birds checklist that I use for my backyard bird count.

Good items to bring: Binoculars; bird field guide; water; camera
