NoVA Furs @ As You Are!

After over a year of hiatus, the monthly AYA meet is back! Come and join us for a chill Wednesday evening with fellow furs at As You Are!

As You Are is a relaxed queer bar/café located in south-east dc halfway between capitol hill and navy yard. It's easy to get to via metro; the Eastern Market stop(Orange/Silver/Blue lines) is one block away! Parking, as with almost everywhere in dc, is very limited, so public transit or carpooling is recommended.

This is not a 21+ only event, though there is a bar with drinks and food available, as well as a game room attached to the upstairs event room. Please check out the bar and get some good eats! They're very cool 🙂 **PLEASE NOTE** As You Are is 21+ after 9pm

Fursuits are allowed and very much encouraged, we(Mort) will be taking pictures of all the fun going on 😄

Unfortunately, the upstairs part of the venue is not wheelchair accessible, although the café space downstairs is.

UPDATE: Another event has been scheduled upstairs at 8pm, so unless you want to practice your comedy routine at the open mic comedy night, we’ll likely be hanging out downstairs once they need the space!

For the first meet, it's first come first served! We would like to host 2-3 vendors in total. In the future, we'd prefer to focus on artists/creators who haven't had a chance to vend before repeating anyone. If you have any questions about vending, reach out to @Mortis322 on telegram!
