After a break for a month, it's back to furhike time! I've been to Scott's Run a few times - it's a somewhat hidden gem, with some really beautiful views - I found this park originally when I was looking to see where the closest waterfall was! This hike is actually a bit tougher than the previous ones we've had this year, so if you're not ready for a bit of climbing up some steep rocks keep that in mind! Fairfax County states that it's one of the most difficult hikes in the area.

As a bonus, we'll be bringing a few trash bags! People leave a bit of trash around this park, especially around the waterfall, so if we can leave it better than we found it, that'd be awesome!

What to bring:

  • Hiking boots
  • Water bottle
  • Snacks if you need it! Park rules do NOT allow picnicking so make sure you've had lunch beforehand!
  • Sunscreen

Parking is free, but the lot is small so keep that in mind! Be sure to verify that you're going to the correct lot!
