Join us for a conversation about how storytelling can allow us to step outside our comfort zones and encounter the authenticity of others. Even fictional narratives can help us to consider the viewpoint of other people in a way that we may not be able to do without their story because of the distance between us and them, geographically or otherwise. Drawing from their course work in storytelling and narrative justice, Dash will share some reasons for storytelling that might go beyond simple enjoyment to ways that we can use the power of stories not only to share about ourselves but also to learn about the increasingly smaller world we all inhabit.
