Agenda:

Our guest speaker, Genise, will give a presentation on magical practice involving the Egyptian/Kemet gods and goddesses, followed by questions and discussion. There will also be an opportunity for regional pagan (and pagan-friendly) groups and events to announce their upcoming activities.

Genise has been active in a wide-range of Occult activities since 1993 and has been a third-degree since the mid-1990s. She has studied under many influential and name-recognizable practitioners across the country and is presently in ordination studies with the Fellowship of Isis. She has taught classes in Baltimore, Hyattsville, Chicago, and at Pagan Spirit Gathering, and is an active practitioner of Reiki across the region.

Food and Drink:

Auld Shebeen is a commercial establishment with fine food and drink, and any purchases will be the responsibility of each individual. Please tip your wait staff appropriately so we can continue to use this wonderful space in good graces!

Donations accepted:

There will be a donation jar for those who are able and willing to donate to the Moot. Donations are split 50%/50% between the guest speaker and the Moot until the $15.00 monthly Meetup fee is met, then all remaining proceeds go to the guest speaker to use as they see fit.

RSVPs and Attendance:

An RSVP is required for attendance: Registration for each event opens 3-weeks in advance, and closes 24-hours prior. Members may RSVP for themselves and up-to two guests. Because many events fill to capacity, no-shows will be tracked. Please update your RSVP immediately if your plans change, as repeated no-shows will lead to suspension or removal at the discretion of the organizer.
