3rd White Elephant Gift Exchange

Location:

We've booked the Lounge at the Angelika Film Center. It's pretty nice and we wanted to go all out for you guys. There will be a cash bar and if we have 25+ people, we can get discounted movies after we eat at a nearby location. Board games will be available for added fun!

You can pay online or bring $10 to the event. (We'll have someone accepting money at the sign-in table.)

Rules for White Elephant:

1. Fully wrapped gift with item inside. $10 minimum, $20 maximum. The outside of the present must completely obscure item inside. No "regifts", nothing old or used. Homemade is OK.

2. Presents will be added to the present table. You can only participate if you bring a present. If you forget your present, there is a Target across the street. Everyone will pick a number from a hat to decide the order.

3. A gift cannot be stolen back during the turn that it was stolen from you. A gift can be stolen up to 3 times before it finds it's permanent owner.

4. The game ends after the 1st person gets to make the final steal.

Bonus: Most Festive Outfit Competition

If you have an ugly sweater, it will be judged by level of ugliness! Else, feel free to dress up all holiday/winter-like.

Prizes:

1st Place: Two Movie Vouchers for the Angelika Film Center

2nd Place: You pick from 1 of 2 (small) gifts

3rd Place: You get the item 2nd Place didn't want :-D
