Finding the Warmth in the Dumpster Fire - Reflecting on 2020, Reframing 2021
Details
Let's face it. 2020 has been a dumpster fire of a year. But even so, there's warmth to be found.
Join NOVA Scribes for an evening of reflection, learning, and sharing to let go of 2020 and set intentions for 2021. Matteo, Rachel, and Brian will share methods from art therapy, leadership development, resilience and vulnerability, executive coaching, reframing, mental contrasting, journaling, and of course graphic facilitation to guide the process.
MATERIALS:
You will need -
- Paper - 11x17 is preferable, but any size will do
- Small pens/markers (Sharpies or Neuland Fine Ones would be perfect)
- Scissors
- Tape or glue
- Matches or lighter (really)
- Something you can safely burn paper in (like an iron skillet)
- Glass of water for safety
So gather your s*** and get ready to burn it.
**All proceeds for this event will go to to CityArts.org.
