Retooling yoU - Team Portrait

Retooling yoU is a series of online workshops to help you kick off your facilitation practice in 2025. Presented by me, Brian Tarallo of Lizard Brain, each workshop will bring you a different aspect of what it takes to build, launch, and grow your practice as a facilitator. We'll cover both facilitation methods and what it takes to run a facilitation business.

In Team Portrait, I'll demonstrate a fantastic visual facilitation method for learning who's in the room. I'll cover the textbook example of a team portrait, then demonstrate variations where participants tap into their own creativity to build trust and deepen relationships, all while practicing skills they'll need later in a creative, participatory workshop. The Team Portrait affirms individuals' identity, draws on their strengths, and gives you as a facilitator insight into their expectations for the work ahead.
