Self-awareness is a key ingredient for any type of personal, professional, and relational growth. The role of a facilitator is often helping a client see themselves as they are, and identify ways to help them in their journey to grow and evolve into who they hope to become.

Play is a highly effective yet underutilized tool for sparking reflections around self-awareness and catalyzing insights for making change.

This highly interactive session will share ways to use games for a more interactive facilitation approach. Specifically, we’ll explore games that highlight different communication and information processing styles, reveal critical insights about attitudes toward risk and change, explore values and priorities, and offer opportunities to practice different ways of showing up and leading.

By the end of the session, you’ll have tools to incorporate games into your practice to further engage clients and facilitate meaningful and sustainable progress.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn the principles of game-based experiential learning and its benefits.
  • Explore how to integrate games into engagements for high-performance outcomes.
  • Practice using games to address communication skills, values, identity, and overcoming barriers.
