What we’re about
Nova Singers is the vibrant, premier community choir of Nova Southeastern University, established in 1976. While we are affiliated with NSU, the opportunity to audition to sing with us is open to all members of the South Florida community. We perform several local concerts per year, and offer opportunities to travel domestically and abroad to perform. Our repertoire ranges from classical to brand new works.

The group presented its first holiday concert in 1976. Two of those original singers, including director Chuck Stanley, will be part of this year’s program. Barber, who retired in 2010, died last year.
The Nova Singers is Nova Southeastern University’s community chorus, whose members range from Nova undergraduate students to senior members of the local community. Auditions are held each year in September, January and March. Membership is open to adult singers of all ages.
