Come see what it's like to sing with us, and consider auditioning to become a member of Nova Singers! We will be singing some music planned for our 2025-2026 season. You'll get a taste of what rehearsal is like, and have the chance to meet fellow choristers.

Auditions follow the singing. You won't need a prepared piece.

During the audition, the director will ask you to sing a familiar song, along with others, so he can determine which voice part is your best fit. The song will be repeated in a variety of keys, from very high to very low, so he can tell where your voice falls most comfortably.

Then, a soprano, alto, tenor and bass (some of them choir members) will be asked to sight-read a short passage together. You won't be expected to be a perfect sight-reader; we just want to know whether you can tell when the notes go up and down, and are longer or shorter.
