Nova Singers Concert: Golden Oldies

The Nova Singers will present a concert celebrating 50 years of singing in Broward County, with favorite songs from spirituals to Broadway to American standards.

The chorus, under the direction of Chuck Stanley, will be accompanied by pianist Anthony Ciotti.

The concert will be performed three times, in three different venues:

• Friday, May 15, 8 p.m. Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1701 E Oakland Park Blvd, Oakland Park, FL 33334.
• Sunday, May 17, 4 p.m. Plantation United Methodist Church, 1001 NW 70th Ave, Plantation, FL 33313.
• Tuesday, May 19, 7:30 p.m. St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 580 Indian Trace, Weston 33326.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

The Nova Singers is Nova Southeastern University’s community chorus, whose members range from Nova undergraduate students to senior members of the local community. Auditions are held each year in September, January and March. Membership is open to adult singers of all ages.
