IMPORTANT - Trip requires attendees to book airfare and accomodations.

Hey folks - Let's do a little travel ski trip for MLK weekend. Depending on interest, I might book an AirBnb for the group. Will discuss more in the WhatsApp chat.

## Mountain Facts

Trip Details:

I will be flying out of DCA on the afternoon of Thurs Jan 14th, arriving in Portland, MN around 4:30pm. I plan to rent a car to drive up to North Conway, NH (about 1.5 hr drive). I have a scheduled day of ice climbing on Jan 15th with a company called Northeast Mountaineering, if anyone wants to join. I have an Epic Pass so plan to spend the weekend skiing both Attitash and Wildcat Mountains.

People are free to come for the full time or just a portion. Will wait to book accommodations so we can discuss options - Likely the best place to stay will be North Conway since it is in the middle of the two resorts.

Attitash is a solid intermediate resort, with a lot of blue runs on wide open groomers. Wildcat is best known for its amazing views of Mt Washington - but is also known getting more natural snow than most other NE resorts due to its' high altitude.

This is not designed as a trip to help with ski/snowboard instruction. However, both resorts offer lessons and rentals.

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Ski/snowboard gear (rentals available onsite)
  • Lift ticket or season pass (available onsite)
  • Warm layers, gloves, and goggles (available onsite)
  • Helmet - optional (available onsite)
  • Snacks, water, and electrolytes (available onsite)
  • Steez

LIFT TICKETS: You will need to either purchase an Epic Season Pass or single-day lift tickets. The ticket prices vary, but I recommend purchasing them well in advance as they can (and do) sell out.
