Margot, a recently self-published author in the nonfiction genre, will share how she helps her author clients stay focused and ensure their message has maximum impact to their audience.
The Novel Ideas community was created by Margot Korhonen and Leanne Wickham to connect, help and guide authors on their publishing journey. Novel Idea events will cover a range of topics including: meeting a published author, book coaching, editing and proofreading, layout and cover design, marketing and promotion and finally, printing your book!
Margot Korhonen is an author and graphic designer with a passion for community. Her second book Creating Connected Communities was published in February 2024, she is building a movement inspired by helping people succeed in their passion.
Leanne Wickham is book coach, editor and proofreader based in Christchurch, working with authors worldwide. Her passion for reading has led to a decade long career working with new and established authors to publish their work.
Leanne and Margot came together with a desire to help authors learn, connect and grow through events. Join us and gain some valuable insights into the author journey.
