Practice with Prompts
Details
Practice with Prompts allows members to hone their writing skills and explore their creative side by writing and sharing short stories written in response to story prompts provided by the organizer.
This week’s prompt: Start your story with “He could hear everything, but dare not open his eyes.”
Please write a short story of no more than 1000 words (so that everyone has time to share) and bring it with you to our meeting. It is not necessary to make copies for the group, but please be willing to read your piece aloud. To make everyone in the group comfortable, please refrain from sharing portions of your stories that contain explicit language or content.
Thank you, and I look forward to hearing your stories!
