October is the season for vampires! Join me for a night of drag-on good entertainment at GayBINGO hosted by Vampire Vixen drag queens! Pick up a copy of Dragula (yes, DRAGula - not Dracula)) by Ma’am Stoker (you can get the ebook for $3.99 on Amazon) and we’ll discuss it while supporting this wildly popular fundraiser for the Philly AIDS Fund. The Activity: GAY BINGO

Theme: Vampire Vixens!

GayBINGO is the fabulous, irreverent, campy, monthly event that has been entertaining Philadelphia audiences for over 20 years!

Celebrating a different theme each month (October is Vampire Vixens!), hundreds of people pack the hall for a night of good old-fashioned Bingo… with a decidedly different twist! GayBINGO is hosted by the infamous Bingo Verifying Divas (BVDs!) – a wild bunch of drag queens who entertain the crowd with their wacky humor and always outrageous costumes.

GayBINGO promises to be an evening of unbridled fun, complete with ridiculous musical numbers, hilarious drag queen antics, chances to win fabulous prizes, and much, much more!

You must buy your ticket in advance through AIDS Fund Philly. Tickets are $40 and sell out so don't wait until the last minute! (Select October 28)

GayBINGO started 25 years ago as a fundraiser for AIDS Fund and in that time it has raised more than $4 million to help people in the Philly area living with HIV and AIDS.

Time: Doors open at 6PM and games begin at 7PM.

GayBINGO! has a running time of approximately 2.5 hours.

DINNER: 5:15/5:30 at TBD - limit to the first 12ish people due to restaurant party size limitations.

Note: The book has mixed reviews so some people in the book club may love it, some may hate it. But, it matches so perfectly with the event we couldn’t help but give it a try! Luckily, it’s cheap and short!
