Fiction meets Philly flavor - and rivalry gets deliciously real! Join Audrey for a Novel Tourists unique Philly Cheesesteak Crawl! In With or Without You by local author Eric Smith (who is going to join us to chat about his book!!), two teens find their friendship on the line when their families run competing cheesesteak food trucks. 💛
Now it’s our turn to step into their world with a Novel Tourist Book Club members-only Philly Cheesesteak Crawl — a four-mile walking adventure through the city’s most famous sandwich showdowns. We’ll hit six iconic cheesesteak stops (three dueling pairs!), sample cheesesteaks at each, and decide once and for all who truly deserves the crown. 👑 Start: Pat's & Genos (South Philly) (We'll do a loop and end just a few blocks north at Binding Agents Book Store in Italian Market)
FEE: $7 - holds your spot and covers cheesteak samples at the first two stops. Bring cash (approximately $20 total) to contribute to purchases of cheesesteaks at the next 4 stops. Drinks and any additional purchases are on your own.
HOW TO PAY: Use Friends and Family! Do not use the business option because it charges a service fee. Please note the event name or date on your payment. If your payment name is different than your Meetup name please make sure you note your Meetup name.
