Hacking iOS apps to run on macOS
by Jan Kaltoun
This one hour-long talk is about my experience with Marzipan and UIKit on macOS. In the presentation I show how to convert an iOS app to macOS and explain how UIKit on macOS works together with a bit of history and how we got to the current state. I also hack (as in class-dump and disassemble) around with Apple’s Marzipan apps and private frameworks to unlock hidden functionality.
The event will be hosted at Betahaus, with enough space for all of you lot to attend. Drinks and refreshments, as always, will be provided by our sponsor STRV and there will be time for you to hang out with each other during the break.
See you all on April 11th.
