NSLondon 2026.3 at Flo
Details
Join us for an exciting evening hosted by Flo! Enjoy informative talks and make the most of the chance to meet fellow Swift developers. We can’t wait to see you there!
Space is limited, so RSVP early to secure your spot. If your plans change so you can’t make it, update your RSVP so others can attend.
We have three great talks lined up, plus time to chat and meet others in the community. We can’t wait to see you there!
💬 Talks:
Harry Davies — “The Living Spec: Rethinking How We Direct Agents”
Examining how to build real systems with agents by minimising context, giving agents self-authored memory that evolves over time, and keeping a living specification at the core of everything they build.
Anastasia Petrova — “Crossing the Boundary: From Feature Team to Platform Team”
In this talk, I’ll share my personal experience transitioning from an iOS feature development team to the Mobile Platform team at Depop. I’ll explore how the shift changed my scope, mindset, and day-to-day responsibilities: from shipping user-facing features to enabling Depop iOS engineering at scale.
Topics covered: - What is Mobile Platform Engineering, and how does it differ from feature development? - Reasons to join, and reasons avoid, a Platform team. - Practical steps to prepare for a transition into Platform Engineering. - Building internal libraries, tooling, and shared architecture. - Moving from product impact to organisational impact. - Mobile Platform Engineering in the age of AI.
James Coleman — “Using ARKit for Facial Rehab”
This showcase will demonstrate how cutting-edge augmented reality is revolutionising the niche market of facial neuromuscular retraining, which helps people living with facial palsy to talk clearer, eat & drink easier, and to express their emotions with confidence. Augmented reality is giving insights about facial movement to clinicians and patients that they’ve never had before, and is encouraging participation in otherwise boring rehab.
