NSS-NT chapter member Dan Garretson will be speaking in Frisco on Thursday of this week for Technology Leaders of DFW on “The Next Space Economy: Which Markets Will Actually Scale?”
We’ll examine orbital data centers, Earth observation and decision intelligence, in-space manufacturing, communications, tourism, and the infrastructure needed to support a larger orbital economy. The discussion will focus on the commercial fundamentals: What valuable problem does each market solve? Who will pay repeatedly? Why is space better than the terrestrial alternative? And what assumptions must hold for the economics to work?
