## The nexus of renewable energy, tech and agriculture
Energy is one of the agriculture industry’s fastest-growing costs. Growing rates of tech adoption and mechanisation on farms are increasing the demand for grid electricity and diesel fuel. Tech like efficient batteries for storage, solar PVs, electric tractors, green hydrogen and energy efficient irrigation are available and have been touted as revolutionary for the industry.
In our October breakfast meetup, we’ll explore the tech, case studies, adoption models, and the remaining gaps necessary to fulfil the promise of renewable energy and technology in building a resilient future for the agriculture industry.
