How to start a Tesla Club in YOUR city or AT YOUR school/UNIVERSITY

Presented by:  Nikola Lonchar,

President and Founder of the Tesla Science Founation

The Tesla Science Foundation

The Tesla Science Foundation is a registered

501(c)3 comprised of the following:

Other local chapters are affiliates only and are not

subsidiaries of the Tesla Science Foundation.

Our Mission

The Tesla Science Foundation  was formed to promote the legacy of Nikola Tesla by raising awareness of his accomplishments and contributions to the 21st Century to include introducing his many patents and inventions that remain applicable to our current needs.  We bring together those with a genuine interest in Tesla through educational programs, workshops, meetings, and public events. Tesla Science Foundation  also selects several inventors per year who have demonstrated innovative technology concepts that exemplify Tesla’s lifelong commitment to Science, Industry, and the Environment. We are prepared to provide assistance to the patent process of new and innovative technologies to include introducing them to the market by forming an appropriate team of professionals including engineers, attorneys, and business/marketing specialists.  The Tesla Science Foundation gives three awards each year for achievements in technology, writing and art related to Tesla or his work.

What Do You Need to Start Your Own Tesla Club?

    • A group of Tesla Enthusiasts to act as an acting Board.  You will need at least three members (a President, Secretary and Member at Large).
Have your first Board meeting and form an organization.
Arrange for free meeting space with your local library or at a local school or university.
Create a Facebook page for your chapter and arrange for your first meeting.
Find a lecturer or movie to show at the meeting and then open up the floor for discussion afterwards.
Create printed advertising materials and leave it around libraries, universities, coffee shops, etc.
Create a press release and send it out to all of the local newspapers and radio stations.

It will be best if you have a laptop, a projector, a sign in book and some refreshments.

How to Finance Advertising

Keeping costs low is important, and it is also important to not charge dues.  Dues limit membership and meeting/lecture locations available.

At the beginning the Board members might bear the cost of printing materials, but you can gather donations and host events.

What We Will Do For You

    • You will be in a network of Tesla-related groups across the world.
We will advertise your group and your events on our websites and page.
You will be able to participate in our webinars
      Art for printed materials
Assistance in starting a physical location which could include a coffee shop, bookstore, gallery, and display of Tesla’s inventions.
Distribution of our Tesla Magnetized Water.
Direct contact with the Tesla Science Foundation’s headquarters in Philadelphia, Zemun and Belgrade Serbia.

Please send us your CV, plan and, if available, list of Board members.
