What we’re about
The lecture series in Buddhist Studies at the University of Calgary is supported by the Numata Chair in Buddhist Studies and the Department of Classics and Religion. We invite speakers from all over the globe to give talks on a wide variety of Buddhist topics. Recent topics included Buddhism in medieval Chinese poetry, and transgender issues and Buddhist practice. Please join us to explore and discuss the many facets of this ancient and rapidly changing tradition.
