Can you answer these 3 questions. Have a go, and comes along to the chat to understand more.

1. For you to give away brain data what must be gained? What can be gained?

2. What level of brain data are you prepared to give away, sell, or buy?

3. Should we prioritise safety overgrowth or should we prioritise safety at all costs?

Neurotechnology is here! It’s set to be in all settings. It could be in work places, schools and its can NOW interact as a gesture control device for universal platform products (phones, mouse, keyboards). If you have a condition it is claimed it could support you with understanding, management and attention to needs.

The publics discourse is so low that most people still use a spectrum to describe what neurotechnology is.

It’s time for healthy debate.

The best way to safely understand a technology that captures brain data for use of mobile phones, computers etc is to understand the benefits, and the risks posed personally to you to support informed decision making.

For this to happen we must have a minimum understanding of what it is and what it is not.

Typically, when we have an injection of new technology people learn by use, and forgo reading the instructions, AKA: privacy policy, terms and conditions, and marketing materials. The danger we have with neurotechnology is you may lose PARTS of your mind (brain data) you never intended too, if you learn by use alone.

The workshop is for EVERYONE. Your current depth of understanding is not important, healthy discussion is the only important factor. The idea is to gather a strong group of people who: understand the basics, to collect views to form data driven legislation to regulate for grow.
