Plant-Powered Snacks: Gluten-Free & Legume-Free Recipes

Details

Join our Nutrition for Autoimmune Wellness group for a virtual cooking meetup! In this session, we will focus on crafting gluten-free seed crackers, along with legume-free alternatives to traditional hummus, crafted with beets and carrots. This event is an ideal fit for anyone interested in learning about managing autoimmune conditions through diet, offering a chance to learn new, wholesome recipes, connect with others on a similar journey, and gain insights into the role of a whole-foods diet in supporting autoimmune health.

As your host and the administrator of our group, I am excited to lead this session. We'll delve into recipes that prioritize natural, unprocessed ingredients, showcasing how simple and delicious it can be to incorporate these foods into your daily routine. Whether you're looking to cook along or just observe and learn, our meetup promises to be engaging and insightful. We'll highlight the joys of cooking with whole, plant-based ingredients, and how they can be creatively used in everyday meals.

What We’ll Be Making:

  1. Seed Crackers: Our seed crackers are not only easy to make and packed with nutrients, but they are also gluten-free and grain-free, making them perfect for snacking or pairing with your favorite dips."
  2. Beet Hummus: A legume-free alternative to traditional hummus, this spread is not only visually appealing but also rich in flavor and nutrients.
  3. Carrot Hummus: Another legume-free option that offers a sweet and savory taste.
