Why Participate?
Practice is the key! Although the basics of NVC or Conscious/Compassionate Communication are simple to learn, they can be challenging to use on a daily basis. To help integrate NVC, we are offering a program to:
· Increase awareness of our feelings/needs:
this leads to a more compassionate connection with ourselves and others.
· Embody & deepen our empathic presence.
· Notice our judgmental thoughts & translate them into underlying feelings/needs.
· Distinguish what we actually observe from our story about what happened.
· Receive “hard to hear” statements, without taking it personally.
· Make requests, not demands.
· Connect to what we truly value, while equally honoring the needs of others.
· Embrace life with a sense of aliveness & appreciation.

What Will We Do?
We’ll do various exercises & role-plays, and have opportunities to share our challenges/successes integrating NVC. We usually laugh a lot, too!

Who is This Group for?
We welcome anyone with some understanding of NVC, as gained from either:
· Attending a workshop or course
· Reading the book Nonviolent Communication, A Language of Life
· Watching videos of Marshall Rosenberg on YouTube
· Listening to The NVC Training Course by M. Rosenberg
