This is an 11 mile hike with ~1000' elevation gain in Rock Creek Park on various trails. We will begin by going south on the Western Ridge trail at the parking lot at the Rock Creek Park Nature Center and Planetarium in Washington, DC. and then loop around on the Valley trail. We hike at a pace of 2.5-3.0 mph when moving.
