The Northern Virginia Hiking Club has an annual member appreciation event as well as an annual hike leader appreciation event. Join us for a social where we can all gather and get to know one another. The Club does not subsidize or cover any costs for the socials; all participants are responsible for their own expenses. Every attempt will be made to rotate venues around the DMV to make it more accessible, depending on where you live.

This time we will be at Silver Branch Lagerhaus & Biergarten, located in Silver Spring, MD. It is metro accessible and not too far from the 495 (I am in fact from CA, IYKYK).

PARKING: There is plenty of parking at the nearby county parking garage at Cameron Street, which is about a three to four minute walk away.

DOGS: From the venue —> Yes, we are dog and family friendly, although dogs aren't allowed inside due to county health code. We have a large outdoor biergarten where dogs are welcome.
