Lands Run Falls - Hickerson Hollow (Rating: A)

This is a 9 mile hike with 2000' elevation gain in the northern section of Shenandoah National Park. We will begin at the 4H Center near Front Royal then pick up the Appalachian Trail to the Dickey Ridge Trail. We will then descend Lands Run to see the falls. From there we will return via the Hickerson Hollow Trail. We hike at a pace of 2.5-3.0 mph when moving. The first 2.5 miles of this hike is all uphill.

Neither the Club nor the hike leaders are responsible for coordinating transportation to/from the trailhead. Hikers are not guaranteed to get a ride to the trailhead from the carpool location. Carpooling is organized by the participants and they participate at their own risk.
