DC Urban Hike (Rating: C)

HIKE: Join me for an end-of-summer hike through trails and neighborhood streets in DC, beginning and ending by the Woodley Park metro. We'll hike through parts of Rock Creek Park, Tregaron Conservancy, Klingle Valley, the National Cathedral grounds and garden, and the neighborhood streets of Adams Morgan, Woodley Park & Cleveland Park. We'll be on a mixture of trails and sidewalks.

Bring water and snacks. We'll have a restroom/snack break partway through the hike.

DISTANCE: 6.6 miles

ELEVATION GAIN: 800 feet (we will have some hills)

PACE: Our average moving pace will be between 2.5 and 2.8 miles per hour.

DOGS: Dogs on a leash are welcome in accordance with NVHC pet policy (https://tinyurl.com/nvhcdogpolicy).
