Join me on a ~10 mile out-and-back hike with ~1,900 feet of elevation gain along the Appalachian Trail. We'll start our hike at Route 55 and head southbound on the AT until we reach the Mosby Campground at ~5 miles into the hike. From there, we'll double back heading northbound, and at ~7 miles we'll stop at the Jim and Molly Denton Shelter for a lunch/snack break before completing the hike.

What to bring
Bring a backpack, water, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, hiking poles if you like. Wear comfortable shoes or boots that are suitable for hiking. Dress for the weather including hat and rain gear as needed.
Dogs
Dogs are permitted on this hike in accordance with the NVHC Dog Policy. Please contact the hike leader in advance if you intend to bring a dog.
