South Run to Burke Lake Loop (Rating: C)

Details:
BRING YOUR MICROSPIKES and join us on this 7.5 mile walk from South Run Rec Center to Burke Lake. Trails are mostly flat (249 ft.), but they will be icy. The connector from South Run is paved. The Burke Lake loop is mostly natural surface. Pace is 2.5-3 mph when moving with a brief break (restrooms / snack) about 3/4 of the way. For those interested after the hike, we'll meet at Bunnyman Brewing Cafe at the Workhouse Arts Center (10 min drive). Bunnyman has food, beer, wine, coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages.

No park entrance fee.

MEET AT THE END OF THE PARKING LOT - NEAR GREEN ROOF BUILDING - see map below.

Please arrive a few minutes early to get signed in. We start promptly at 9:00 am
South Run Rec Center has restrooms. There will also be a restroom about 3/4 of the way.
