Hike: 7.5 mile circuit hike with 600 feet of elevation gain. Pace will be 2.5-3mph while moving. Trails are dirt with some rocks and roots.
Description: The majority of the hike is under forest canopy, which is perfect for a hot day. We'll even get a chance to dip our toes in the water. There are some lovely wildflowers currently in bloom including wild azaleas, lady slippers, showy orchis, jack in the pulpit, bluets, and spring beauty. We'll start on the Laurel Loop Trail.
Restrooms: There are restrooms at the Visitor Center area where we start as well as Turkey Run Education Center where we will stop for a snack break.
Fee: The park entrance fee is $20 unless you have a National Park Pass. Military, veterans, and gold star family members are also eligible for free admission. I

Meeting Place Instructions:
Please arrive 15 min early to check in. We are meeting in the parking lot for the Pine Grove Picnic Area and the
Visitor Center. There are two parking areas in an L shape - you can park in either area, but we will meet in the first parking lot.
Take the SECOND left after entering the park and take your first right into the first lot, or continue straight ahead into the large lot**. GPS Coordinates 38.56040, -77.34952**
