NW Steelheaders Film Fest
Details
Please join us for the 2nd Annual Film Festival, presented by the Northwest Steelheaders.
This year’s festival features two powerful films that explore our shared relationship with salmon, rivers, and the impacts of dams—through both ecological and human stories.
We will begin with First Descent, an inspiring film that follows a group of Native American teens as they kayak the Klamath River for the first time after the removal of the lower dams. It’s a moving story of renewal, connection, and hope.
Our feature presentation, Covenant of the Salmon People, examines the deep relationship between the Nez Perce Tribe and salmon, and the real impact that declining salmon runs have had on their culture and way of life. The film also highlights their ongoing efforts to address the effects of the Snake River dams.
In addition to the films, we’ll have door prizes and raffle items available throughout the evening.
Doors open at 5:00 PM
Show starts at 6:00 PM
