Glenview Woods walk

This popular forest preserve is bisected by the North Branch of the Chicago River. To the east of the river, visitors can take advantage of the North Branch Trail; to the west of the river, visitors can walk along unpaved trails and enjoy birds along with other wildlife residing here.

The group will spot mushrooms along the path so many photo opportunities if you like fungi. Collecting/foraging in Cook County Forest Preserves is not allowed so we'll be viewing only.

We'll meet in the small parking lot before crossing the river to hike the unpaved trails.
