Trapper Creek Wilderness: Observation Peak

We'll hike in the wilderness and leave no trace. We'll cross a creek, see some huge trees, small trees, and burnt trees. At Observation Peak we will observe Mt St Helens, Mt Hood, Mt Adams, Mt Rainier and shrubbery.
- Distance: ~15 miles
- Elevation Gain: ~3800
- Pace: 2+ mile per hour. 3+ going back down.
- Driving Distance & tolls: 120 miles round trip ($15 cash carpool donation)
- Permits: NW Forest Pass
- Difficulty: Hard due to distance and elevation gain
- Dogs: No
- Warnings: Only if you deserve one.
We will meet at the Gateway Transit Center on the west side of the ground floor for carpooling. Please arrive at 6:50 am so we can leave at 7:00. I will drive and can accommodate 3 other hikers, past that limit, other drivers will be needed.
If I don't know you, and/or you don't have a strong hiking history with NW Wilderness, I will DM you to determine if this hike is appropriate for you.
This is an all-day outing, do not sign up if you have time constraints Saturday evening as we will most likely stop for food before heading back.
