Details
This will be an easy six mile hike with five hundred feet of elevation gain. Features will be a bat barn, Estacada Lake, Rivermill Dam, largest Yew tree in Oregon and a fish hatchery. Meet at McIver Memorial Viewpoint at 9:30. An Oregon State Parks pass will be needed for parking and can be purchsed at the entry booth by card. After passing the entry booth go downhill and at a stop sign go straight. In a short distance turn left into a parking area for the viewpoint. No restroom at the viewpoint but there will be restrooms halfway through the hike.
