About us
This is a group for folks ages 50+ who are ready to start having fun again. Kids are gone? Work is finished? Time to enjoy yourself. Anyone can post and/or host an event. Can be something as simple as a hike or bike ride or more elaborate like a weekend excursion. Any event that you want to share and attend with others can be posted. There can be multiple events on the same day. The goal is to spread the word about activities in the area and know that you can find a friend (or meet a new friend) from this group when you get there. No pressure - attend what you want, when you want, if you want.
We primarily have events in the Fayetteville/Springdale local area but will travel north for a good event. To cover administrative costs of Meetup, there is an ANNUAL membership fee of $5 (60 day free trial) -- that's less than a cup of coffee.

Please remember to ACT RESPONSIBLY WHEN SIGNING and UP (And is signed up, then unRSVPing when deciding on not attending) FOR EVENTS. If you have signed up for an event and know beforehand that you cannot attend, if there is a waitlist, PLEASE UNDO YOUR RSVP, if not attending an event you signed up for, by changing your status to “NOT GOING,” which will open up your spot for someone else.
