Road Trip to the Horse Races

Anyone enjoy going to the horse races? This will be an informal event - make your own lodging arrangements, try to get grandstand seats in the same area at the races, and we'll potentially have a couple meals together (it's also Valentine weekend so we'll play it by ear). We'll drive down on Saturday and spend both Saturday night and Sunday night in Hot Springs. The other option for those who don't mind a very long day is to make a day trip out of it -- drive down really early Sunday morning and drive back Sunday night (races end about 6 p.m.) Depending on how many are interested, we could have a group dinner Saturday night, go to the races on Sunday, and potentially a dinner on Sunday night.

Grandstand seating is inside and inexpensive ($6.13 per seat). I am in Section J, Row G, seat 13-16. I recommend buying your tickets in advance on the Oaklawn website. There is also a casino on site for those who enjoy gaming.
