Monday Night Swing (for the Summer)

June lessons will focus on BALBOA! Come learn this awesome swing dance variation that will boost your lead-follow connection and improve your fast and slow dancing!

NWA Swing Dance Society (Lindy Hop/East Coast Swing) has big plans for the summer! We're offering opportunities for dancers at all skill levels to learn solo jazz, Balboa, Collegiate Shag, Blues/Slow Swing, Frankie's Favorites, and more. Each topic will be a short lesson series. The best time for drop-ins is the first lesson of a series. After every lesson, enjoy a dance party followed by a stretch session! Lessons and dances are free, and all are welcome.

Dates: May 12 to August 4

Times: 6:15 PM = Lesson
7:15 to 9:00 PM = Social dance

Location: University of Arkansas Union Food Court (3rd Floor)

*In front of Razorback Stadium, corner of Stadium Drive and Maple St., is free after 5:00 pm. (Any location with green or yellow signs).

*Stadium Drive Parking Garage (SDPG) is paid parking until 8:00 p.m. Use the Flowbird app to pay or text UARKS to 25023 to pay online indicating your end time as 7:59. The 4th floor of the parking garage leads to the 3rd floor of the Union.
